My sites not getting indexed; People Search not working

Server 2003, MOSS 2007 SP1
Content from the main portal is getting indexed and is searchable.
Content from the My Site host is not getting indexed..

My site host: http://server:4040

Errors from the Crawl log:
Warning Level

or the crawler was denied access to it.)

One last thing, the mysite host has been extended to the intranet zone with a
url of https://mysite.hostname.com

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
