SiteMapProvider? Library folder / navigation issue

I can't figure out how to get the default breadcrumb navigation to
show that the user is in a certain folder in a library. I would prefer
that we didn't use folders but we do. So, is there some way to use a
different provider or am I maybe missing a way to do this with the
standard provider?

the "default" navigation componant cannot be configured to do that.
you would need to write a custom navigator.
