My Site Images

I have configured the image URL in Sharepoint Profile Database to map to the web page property in AD. This works fine. When I search People the image displays in the public area of My site, but the image does not show in the search view. It just shows that it is an image but is not displayed. When I click on the link to the users My SIte the graphic shows fine. Has anyone any ideas why this does not display correctly in the search. The graphics are jpg's.
