Stupid question. How does Site Definition ID corresponds with Site Definitions.

List template file (.stp) : Site Definition ID = 1 is only visible in create page in team sites.
List template :Site Definition ID = 30 is visible in create page of Topics, and sub Areas but not in Home
List template :Site Definition ID = 31 is visible in create page of sub-areas of Topics ( Divisions, Resources, Strategy, Projects, Locations ) but not is Topics area, Home, and sub areas.

You’ll find the site  definition IDs in the WEBTEMP*.XML files in the C:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\60\templates\xml directory.
