When I originally setup my site collections, I set them up with 2 site
collection administrators. One was my service account and the second
was my account. I have not been back to one of my site collections in a
while, but today I was running a trial run on an upgrade to SP2010 and
when I attempted to do a visual upgrade, it told me I did not have
permission to perform this function.

So, I went back to the original site and got to poking around and it too
told me I did not have permission. When I look at the site collection
administrators, both of the original accounts show. Is there an stsadm
command that will allow me to override this?

I have googled, but not yet found anything of use.
