My Site and anonymous access

  Asked By: Landon    Date: Dec 10    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 998

Is it possible to have an SPS portal use Windows Integrated
authentication but allow anonymous access to MY sites? Can users set
access to allow non active directory users access their MY sites?

Yes and no. anonymous  access can be mixed with Windows Integrated
authentication, and anonymous users  can be granted access  to the Public views of
My Sites. There is no way to allow anonymous users (or anyone other than the
authenticated user who owns it) access to the Personal view of a My Site.

I figured out how to allow anonymous  to My Site. It works for Lists and
pages I create in MY site  but how do you make it work for the default
public My site page?
