Show subsites

Asked By: Jonah    Date: Apr 27    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1263

Is there a way to show a list of subsites on the home page of a WSS site? Right now, people have to click "Documents and Lists" then "Sites" to get a listing. I'd like to offer that (and sometimes Document Workspaces and Meeting Workspaces) on the home page so the information isn't buried and makes navigation easier.

We purchased CorasWorks to do that as well as other tasks.
ml) They have a great Web Part
called "Workplace View Advanced" that lists  out every site  and
workspace. I used to manually make links. No longer, it is updated
on the fly. You also have access to Admin links without navigating
to each site (if you have the rights).

Several options exist:

That last link includes code that you could use to create your own
solution too. There are likely others that I didn't think to locate.
