sharing point files over lan

I have installed sharingpoint server in win2008server and it works perfectly. But how i can access sharing point with winxp? If i add sharingpoint URL (http://hq-hwrtskxs:6624) in winxp browser it will search on the internet. i tryed to create network drive with sharingpoint url (http://hq-hwrtskxs:6624) but it is giving me error, so couldnt create network driver. please explain me...

ok. got the idea. Never heard bout it. But now explain everything. But today i have reinstalled windows 2008 in new virtual machine and setup everything from zero. and everything is working perfectly. Even can create map network drive. After creating this driver i just put url  in browser and it redirects in server  machine... working perfect.
