SharePoint and WebTrends Question

Asked By: Judith    Date: Aug 19    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 808

We are using WebTrends as our reporting software with SharePoint. 99% of our
documents are MS Office documents. For some reason under Top Documents,
WebTrends reports folders and htm/html documents only. Does anyone know how to
tell WebTrends to collect information on MS Office documents in Top Documents
and not list folders? I only want information about documents.

Also, under General Statistics/Visitors/Unique Visitors we average about 90 -
100 unique visitors. The only problem is, under Top Authenticated Visitors we
see 1000 visitors. Why the difference?

We are using WebTrends Enterprise Suite 6.0.

Check out CONFIGURE-->OPTIONS in WebTrends. Then, look at "Document File
Extensions and Types". This should tell you what type of files it looks at.
I'm not sure how to exclude a folder.

Unique...I would think means a lot of those 1000 people are logging in more
than once. ...??
