SHAREPOINT vs VISTA issue

Asked By: Garrett Reyes         Date: May 18, 2008      Category: MOSS      Views: 243

At our company we currently run XP on all our desktops, and we have
WSS3.0 and MOSS 2007 installed. All is working fine.

We installed on desktop for the first time with VISTA. We then tried
to call up SharePoint. All seemed to work but for this:
Go into any list, select a file to edit.
The edit form comes up OK, but any of the Rich Text boxes come up
with no rich text tool bars, and the data inside the box starts with
<Div and ends with \>Div. The actual data is all messed up.

What we found:
Vista has both a 64bit IE and a 32Bit IE (Internet Explorer) The 64
but has this problem, but the 32bit works OK.

We wanted to deploy 132 Vista converted Computures but must now halt
efforts until we find out what's best to do. Currently, we force
Vista to open the 32bit version.

Has anyone else seen this issue and found out what's goin on?
