From CA when i click on User Profile Service and click manage i get following error



This User Profile Application's connection is currently not available. The Application Pool or User Profile Service may not have been started. Please contact your administrator.



I have tries many options to solve this error like

Created new application pool from properties

the service shows started message

Again from CA if i click Manage Metada Service i get following error

The Managed Metadata Service or Connection is currently not available. The Application Pool or Managed Metadata Web Service may not have been started. Please Contact your Administrator.

none of the above worked,

Should i do anything else,

I am doing all this to enable Audiences
