I need help on making sharepoint site template. What I have made is I have
customised the http://sps/sites/testsite/default.aspx with my homepage
requirement. eg. header footer etc. now I saved as site template also. after
that How do I apply the template for future pages? Nowere given apply
templete option.

Another major problem is adding the databased tree menu(C#) created. I
thought I can place this Menu by using layer. But how do I add entire aspx
file on layer and the aspx file also contain codebehind page also?. Please
can anybody see it? and give suggestion? some how if we place this menu on
default.aspx then onclick how do we execute portal server pages?

I dont want making fwp it can apply only to new sites right? I want to apply
templete for new pages?
