SharePoint Services

Asked By: Harshini    Date: Aug 22    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 459

I have used SharePoint services to duplicate my current intranet, but
have hit a bump in the road.

With my current intranet, if a user goes to a sub page and clicks on
a URL, let us call it Doc:

User A logs on and can access Doc1 through Doc
USer B logs on and can access Doc2 through Doc

Neither user knows that there are more than one Doc, they only know
about the Doc they access.

The current intranet is a .php format and has a script that
identifies the user, based on their location, and points then at the
URL (UNCPath) that applies to them.

I have not found a way to replicate this with SharePoint Services.

I've tried using 2 seperate URLs, but then User A with see the URL
the User B connects to. I've also tried duplicating the subpage and
set permissions that way, but now I have 2 pages instead of one.
(Having 2 pages isn't the problem.)

But then Admin Z has to update 2 pages instead of 1 when it come to
Announcements or Messages.

Any suggestions on how I can do this?
