I recently attended a training in DC for web
designers, but my infrastructure team is asking some questions that I
would want to consult more knowledgable people on. We are currently
running our MOSS platform off another agencies server. As we expand our
usage of Sharepoint we are realizing more and more that we need to be
in controll of our own stuff. So, we will be migrating over to our own
server shortly. The question is this: What type of specs am I looking
for in these new servers?
Here's my agency profile: 1,000 users, potentially multiple sub-
sites/could be alot of documentation, My Site for all users, money is
not really an issue.
What would you recommend wer go with for things like disk spcae, RAM,
etc?
