Using Sharepoint with Server 2003 on a single CPU

Asked By: Norma    Date: Dec 21    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 725

I have not yet upgraded to the new Sharepoint V3.0.

I created a Sharepoint site on a single CPU with the default database,
not a separate SQL database.

I have a 130gb drive, but it was set up where the C: drive has only
12GB. There is no partition.

What I need to do is expand the 12gb drive. Partition Magic will not
work on Server 2003.

Is there any other way I can expand the C: drive without corrupting my
Sharepoint site?

Thanks in advance for any pointers?

One of the option is pretty much like you move this sharepoint  site
to another server  and restore there. So, you could try to back up
content database, rebuilt your server, install everything back and
create this sharepoint with restored database.

This is assumed you do not have customized web partts, security, site
definition and application.
