I am using SPS 2003 sp2. I recently upgraded my virtual servers to .Net
Framework 2.0. All seemed to be working fine until I attempted to add a
user on an area on the Portal (I have several portals and I get the same
result from each). The steps I am taking are :

1. Site Settings

2. Manage Users

3. Add Users

4. Select users and groups

5. Find by: Built in Accounts

6. NT Authority\Authenticated Users

7. Add

8. OK

9. Reader

10. Next

This is when I get the all to informative error message : "An unexpected
error has occurred."

I have tried adding a user to a WSS site and it is working fine. Any and
all help is appreciated.
