SharePoint Portal 2003 Backup & Restore Problem

I have tried to restore the SharePoint Portal Server from SERVER1 To SERVER2. The SITEDBS are restored successfully but the INDEX portion was not restored. As a result the "Search Application" was not restored. I have crawled the portal and not portal contents of the restored site but still files can not be searched in the Restored site.

The SharePoint portal is running on SQL Server 2000 with Service Pack 4.
