Sharepoint list and documents copied to folder on another list

If you have a task list with an attached file, is there a way to copy
that attached file to a document library list that has 1-n predefined
folders in the list. I was think of using SPD to do this, but no luck.

Do you mean in a workflow, or just at design time?

Like you know i am new to this, i was not sure what would be the best
approach. I assume in workflow but if design is easier i should go
with that.
