Sharepoint Integration with SSRS 2008

Asked By: Anna    Date: Oct 20    Category: MOSS    Views: 890

I wanted to display SSRS 2008 reports on MOSS. I have installed SQL server
2008 enterprise edition. I have configured central admin to reporting services
configuration manager. But whenever i try to publish this report on sharepoint
using VS2008,it gives me a below error "Failed to connect to
'http://servername/document library/' with the following error: Unable to create
the Web site 'http://servername/document library/'. Visual Web Developer does
not support creating Web sites on a SharePoint Web server. See Help for more
details."

I did the same thing with SSRS 2005 and it's working fine. I first deployed
the reports to the sharepoint document library and then use the page viewer web
part to display this report on a ADAM site.

Can anyone please provide me a step-by-step guide about the integration
procedure of MOSS with SQL Server 2008.
