Sharepoint hotfix

When SPS alerts don’t work you can apply the hotfix as listed below but also
you may have the same problem I had.
Depending on your windows 2000 domain configruation and functional level the
sharepoint service account may need to be added to the AD Group - Windows
2000 Compatibility Group. This will allow the SPS service account to read
particular nodes within the AD schema that it would notrmally not have
access to .
