Using SharePoint Designer to Edit/Update list

I am using SharePoint Designer Edit/New/Display form to customise the list and using the following microsift link to update the form

I tried to apply patch on my VM where sharepoint is running it throw an error..then site is not visible...i restored my VM from my backup...

Than i did what ever mentioned in the link apart from patch apply....

MY PROBLEM IS ..I CAN NOT UPLOAD ATTACHMENT USING THIS CODE CHANGES in SharePoint Designer .aspx pages...

Any Help will be appreciated...
