SharePoint DateTimeControl.OnValueChangeClientScript Property

I am trying to use JavaScript to validate a DateTimeControl. The
OnValueChangeClientScript property only fires when the date changes, not
when the hour or minute changes. I need a way to validate the control
when any of the three fields in the control change.
