SharePoint Content Contributuon Report

Asked By: Jim    Date: Aug 18    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 772

I need to create a report on a document library that shows how many documents
have been uploaded, sorted by the Content Owner. Has anyone done anything like
this before? Any reccomendations on what Tables I need to query?

Create a new view on the doc library, and set the grouping by content  owner.
When you use grouping, it automatically puts a total for each group.

I've tried this but my End Users want a report  that can be emailed around. Any
other ideas or suggestions out there?

You should try to convince them to use Laura's suggestion. One of the
points of SharePoint is to eliminate clogging up the email system by
"collaborating" via SharePoint.
