I downloaded the 120 day eval, installed it without too much trouble
(although the proxy setting tool is kind of clunky), but every other
time I hit the site it crashes my browser.
On the rare occasions when it does work, all it shows me are an ass-
load of ActiveX controls running in a shaky IE process that takes up
more than 21 Mb of memory! Forget even trying to use it if your
browser doesn't support IFRAMEs or ActiveX controls (read: if your
browser isn't written by Microsoft) or if you're outside a firewall
or running on a slow connection.
Sharepoint is not a corporate portal, it's just the same old MS
desktop software we've all grown to love and hate running in a
browser.
