SharePoint Analysis

The database grew from about 100GB to about 300GB in a short moment and we don't know the source.

i think if we would have a solution/utility/tool to determine the amount occupied in the database by each SharePoint component we would have a clue.

any idea?

AvePoint's report center (www.avepoint.com/sharepoint-reporting-docave/) is a great tool for this purpose.
