We have a form that is calling UserProfileService.asmx that works on SharePoint
2007 but it is failing on SharePoint 2010 with an error 5566, " You do not have
permissions to access a Web service that provides data required for this form to
function correctly." The ULS log file has the entry: "A n operation failed
because the following certificate has validation errors:... The root of the
certificate chain is not a trusted root authority..". We are using a wild card
DigiCert certificate on both servers. Has anyone else run into this problem?
