SharePoint 2010 Upgrade from 2007

Has anyone actually gone through the process yet?
I have seen plenty of articles describing the recommended path, but haven't seen
anything describing what actually takes place.

I'm working through this as we speak. I can post the procedure once I confirm it
all works as expected.
