sharepoint 2010 set library/file permissions with workflow

I want to change the permissions of an directory or file at the sharepoint
2010 library with an worflow.
Is this generally possible? And if yes did anybody knows a tutorial or page
wich describes this?

Hi Dejuan,

don't know if you had an answer yet... But when creating the workflow in SharePoint Designer, you have to set an 'imporsonation step'. When you create such a step, you can set permissions.
The step will run as the person logged in, zo that person has to have sufficient authority to set permissions.
