SharePoint 2007 configuration problem

Asked By: Marie    Date: Apr 25    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 665

I'm trying to install SharePoint on a standalone machine. The
installation is fine, but the configuration wizard fails to finish.
It errors out while performing the second task.

The error says an exception of type
System.Security.AccessControl.PrivilegeNotHeldException was thrown.
It says the process doesn't have the required SeSecurityPrivilege
privlege.

Anyone know the cause and any solutions?

I believe this task is the config database creation. Are you using an account
that has DBCREATOR priviledges within SQL Server?

If I remember correctly, it also needs Security Admin rights.
