Sharepoint 2001 -> usage report script question

Asked By: Jordon English         Date: Aug 01, 2009      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 376

In order to see how many hits our Portal has each month, we are using the usage
report script from the spsfaq website, created by Tony Bierman. Although the
script works fine, sometimes users are displayed which I have trouble
identifying...

For example:

1) ANCHOR-01.WWW-CACHE.DEMON.CO.UK
2) S142-179-146-200.AB.HSIA.TELUS.NET
3) CPE-138-217-240-191.WABIGPOND.NET.AU
4) AC9CB9AO.IPT.AOL.COM
5) FLA1AAIO44.NGS.MESH.AD.JP

Could anyone explain what is meant with these users and why these are listed
instead of the normal user names (which is the case most of the time)?
