How to set up a web service to have data streamed from XML to MOSS

Asked By: Britney    Date: Aug 23    Category: MOSS    Views: 637

I need to set up a web service to have data streamed from the
different database provider. The web service needs to transform the
data into pre-uploaded form library on MOSS. Databse provider creates
an XML output, but it is not in the right format. I need to transform
their XML into our XML format. I just need a way to accept the XML and
then use the XSLT to create a the form in predefined form template on
MOSS and upload it to the SharePoint site.

Could you give us more information on your ultimate goal? That is, what's
the problem you're trying to solve here? That may provide us with the
insight we need to recommend a process, or even to advise a different
approach.

Let look into another scenerio

We have an secure FTP server. Where our third party client will
upload the data  in XML format  and from there we want transfer data to
our infopath sharepoint  library.

This will work once in a day, we can schedule job for this also.

Please guide me what is the best method for transferring data from
client XML format to our Infopath sharepoint library.
