Set individual MY Site and SubSIte Storage capacity

Asked By: Denny    Date: May 12    Category: MOSS    Views: 1333

In SharePoint 2007 is it possible to set max storage and file upload
sizes on individual's My Site? Can you also set individual file upload
sizes on individual Sites, rather than the site collection level? I
can make global changes to My Site and individual Portal web
applications.

You can open the site  collection in Central Admin, Quotas and
Locks(sp?), and then change the individual  quota. I believe this will
work.

The Max File Upload setting is set  at the Web Application level, you can set it
for individual  Sites. If you wanted your My Sites to have a different setting
than your regular sites you could put them in their own web app.

I don't know of a way to do this through the UI.
