I've a problem that I need to use search of sharepoint to search file inshare folders on my computer. I've add content sources and add filetypes. The files were indexed but I can't search even I specify thesearch scope in advance tab.
Probably user, which you specified in sharepoint server to use for indexengine doesn't have permissions on network share you specified.
