I had a perfectly working SPS2003 site. The network admins applied some patcheson this server with win 2003 and spps2003. When I launch either individual sitesor the admin site, they all come back with a page saying "Service Unavailable"
We are getting the message "Service Unavailable" when we try to accessour SharePoint 2007 site. We run IISReset and that seems to fix theproblem for about 30 minutes. This is the message in the event log.A process serving application pool 'SP2007_AP' suffered a fatalcommunication error with the World Wide Web Publishing Service. Theprocess id was '4508'. The data field contains the error number.I have followed the steps in this article from Microsoft.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823552I have also reviewed this article from Microsoft, although this is amember server not a domain controller.
