Service Pack 3 for Office 2000

I am experiencing some troubles with Service Pack 3 for Office 2000
interfering with the Client Tools for SharePoint. It is causing PowerPoint
to generate a C++ runtime error and causes Outlook to hang and then shut
down.

Is anyone else experiencing this or has anyone come across documentation for
this from Microsoft? Any help or information is greatly appreciated.

IIRC, this is a known issue and is fixed by upgrading to XP.

So the Sharepoint client is incompatible with Office 2K?

Do you have a KB article that covers this? We don't' have an option to
upgrade to XP so I'm looking for any more information on this as the SP3
upgrade is rolling out shortly.
