Service Pack 2 (SP2) for Windows Server 2003 Causing Slow Load Time

So I was working on this problem for almost 2 weeks and I had
Microsoft Premier Support stumped. It was a pain to find the answer
and I also found it very interesting that this was the cause the to
the problem. Our pages were taking 50 seconds to load in our MOSS
environment for about 75% of users but others it loaded fast. I have
written a blog post about the entire thing so check it out at
sharepointinsight.com/.../Post.aspx?ID=17. Please
post any comments you may have about it and/or let me know if anyone
else has seen this behaviour

Interesting, can't say that we've had any problems on the servers that we've
installed SP2 on. One thing to consider is that there are "improved network
performance" changes that were a part of W2k3 SP2.

Check out:
technet.microsoft.com/.../bb229702.aspx

to read more about the "10 reasons to install SP2".

Additionally in the technical overview there's information regarding the
Scalable Networking Pack (half way down
technet.microsoft.com/.../bb294403.aspx)

Wondering if any of that has to do with the issue that you're seeing.
