Infrastructure Update for Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
Dear All, The above patch is installed in my Live server of MOSS 2007, Once we
installed that , there are some serious issues which we were facing in
workflows,1. Email alerts for WF are not generating.2. If we approve the task it
will stuck as "In Progress" i.e., not moving to completed state instead status
as In Progress. Please help us in finding the solution. Please we are running out
of scope for this.

A couple obvious issues:

1) The infrastructure update is getting a little long in the tooth
- you should seriously consider moving to SP2

2) If you are running MOSS 2007 you need to install both the WSS
3.0 AND the MOSS 2007 packages when updating, not just the WSS one which
you linked to. For the Infrastructure Update see
7c8-976b-0b7f26a3b3c4&displaylang=en and pay special attention to the
Instructions section which outlines the specifics of the install/config
order you must follow.

I don't know what the updates are for but I can tell you that you should reopen
your workflows and add logging to them if you want to find out where they stop
and why. You should log each variable that you expect to change.
