security on folders

Asked By: Jay Pilgaonkar         Date: May 27, 2007      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 180

Can anyone please help.

I have a very large document library that contains around 20 folders, one of
the folders deep in the level (some of the folders go down about 4 depths)
needs restricted access but i can't find how to do this, i can only see the
function of putting security on document libraries but not particular
folders in them.

Pull the context menu down for the folder (Drop down) and select "Manage

You can't set security  on individual folders  in 2003. Only
in WSSv3/MOSS 2007
