Security access a two document library

Asked By: Kenny Weber         Date: Feb 24, 2003      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 293

I have "[server]/document library1", "[server]/document library2",
Contributor1 and Contributor2.

How grant access of Contributor1 to "library1" and access deny of
contributor2 to "library1"?

In IIS the Authenticated access is "Integrated Windows
authentication".

Delete all permissions that have been inherited from the site level for
document libraries. Use Add Users to give necessary permissions in document
libraries to the users accordingly.

This is at the Team site level correct? My understanding is that we dont have Doc lib level security  in an area/SPS

You are absolutely correct. If u are using SPS there is only area level security.
