Search - SharePoint Portal Server 2001 and SharePoint Portal Server

Does anyone know, if the SharePoint Portal Server 2003 can make the Search of the documents, not only in SharePoint Portal Server 2003, but also that are in one workspace of the SharePoint Portal Server 2001?

If it’s possible, how can configure that?

Its just like crawling another web site. Put in the URL of the workspace and it should be crawled just fine.
