Using search for keywords

Asked By: Joseph    Date: Aug 15    Category: MOSS    Views: 655

My company would like to start tagging pictures (using the keywords column) on
SP to be able to quickly search for related pictures. We are currently only
using the standard search and have not set up advanced search. We are using MOSS
2007. When I add keywords to a picture and try to search for those values in the
standard search it does not return anything.

Is there a way to search the keywords column with the standard search? If so,
can someone suggest a good article on doing this?

If we need to implement the Advanced search, can someone suggest a good guide on
how to proceed with this?

I would look into creating a managed property based on the column where you are
tagging the pictures.
