Search in Document Folder Only..

You specify a search scope by editing the properties of the content source.
Right click the workspace folder in the content source folder. On the
advanced tab, specify the search scope.

Thanks... but could the user specify the search  scope in on demand? As some
user might want to do a "global" search, but some just want to search in
"document" folder.

You set the scope  of the content  source as described below. So you can
create a content source  that searches the documentns folder  and, say. Give
these documents a scope of "documents"

The user selects the scope to be searched from the search  page. The default
is to search all indexed content. If the user wants to search only the
documents folder, he selects "documents" in the drop-down scope box on the
search page
