What is the source of the Issue IDs? If this is a single list (or
multiple lists in the same site collection) it sounds like something
more suited to a customized view on the list or a Content Query Web Part
rather than a Search customization...

the issue  ID is from my ITservice ticket workflow and its a multiple list in the
same site collection

Then a Content Query web part targeted to the content type of the
list(s) should do the trick.

The Content Query Web Part is not part of the default web part in my portal..
Am i suppose to build it into sharepoint?

Content Query should be available for all publishing sites in MOSS.

OK, first this is not a customization  of the search  engine but rather a
customization of the presentation (xls) for the core results Web part.
What I would suggest is:
Create a unique results page for these search results.
Create a scope for this data  and point the scope to this new results page.
(note: scopes which point to unique pages cannot be listed on advanced pages
since the scope picker on the advanced page permits selecting more than one
scope and they all need to point to the same results page.)
On the new results page the xls presentation code can be modified to present the
results in whatever manner you want.

I am not a dev so I can't give you code samples. There are some samples
downloadable from connect.
