Script Execution Error

Asked By: Rohit    Date: Oct 10    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 722

I'm having some trouble with sharepoint portal server 2001. I've set
it up to be accessible both internally (intranet), via the servers
NetBIOS name, and externally (extranet), via the servers FQDN; as

When I view the Document Library using the NetBIOS name everything is
ok, when I view it via it's FQDN I get the following error:

Script Execution Error: Reason: No data is available for the requested

I suspect this is something to do with the numbering of the sites in
IIS as suggested by:

The internal site is running out of the default web site, i.e.
W3SVC/1, the external site is running out of a seperate web site which
is W3SVC/2. I had previously run the IIS lockdown tool to remove the
Admin site, thus the numbering of the new site.

I suspect I need to renumber the external site to W3SVC/3 to make it
work but I don't know how to do this, does anyone else?
