We have a script that restores portal-embedded sites from *.bak files
to a portal on a different server. The problem is that the portal
areas and sub-areas themselves are static. They are backed up, but not
restored nightly.

Does anyone have a script to restore the portal to a different server?
Does anyone have ideas on how to do that? Which one of the SharePoint
admin command tools should we use in the script?
