How do you save content added to a page template I created?

Asked By: Rocco    Date: Jul 30    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1286

I've created a custom master page.

I then created a content type and modified the page template in SP
Designer
so that the page consists of one single HTML field.

It then go to my site and click NEW PAGE, pick the page template, and
then
it creates a new page and lets me edit the HTML field.

But how do I SAVE it? I don't see any SAVE or SAVE CHANGES button
anywhere
on the screen?

Furthermore, if I just go back to the VIEW ALL SITE CONTENT and click
PAGES
and go to edit the page from there, I can get to the page, can click on
EDIT
PAGE in the SITE ACTIONS MENU, but nothing happens on the screen. The
edit
bar does not appear. It DOES check out the page, but doesn't give me any
way
to edit it.

Any ideas? Am I missing something in my page layout? Or something in my
master page?
