Cannot run Windows SharePoint Services on this page

Asked By: Curtis    Date: Dec 18    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 2225

I have having following AAM settings

Internet Url Zone Publin Url Authenticatione
http://portal Default http://portal Windows
http://portal.comom" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://portal.comom Intranet http://portal.com Windows
https://SQLportal.com Internet https://sqlportal.com FBA-SQL
http://adamportal.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://adamportal.com Extranet http://adamportal.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://adamportal.com ADAM
http://mysiteadam.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://mysiteadam.com Custom http://mysiteadam.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://mysiteadam.com ADAM

I am able to upload single/multiple file using Windows/FBA-SQL. But
if I try multiple upload using ADAM user authentication type, It is
giving error "Cannot run Windows SharePoint Services on this page".
Even I am not able to integrate Calendar or task in outlook.

I tested various type of file, various sizes of the file. Tried with
various IE version, various desktop OS, disable/enable client
integration in Central Admin - Authentication Provided, reset the
IIS, no error in event viewer, resave upload.aspx. but no luck,

I also noticed if I made changes in AAM of ADAM authentication with
SSL as I did in FBA_SQL(Internet zone) I faced following problems:
1. If I login as an extranet user it redirect to me
http://portal .
2. If I login as an custom zone user, if wont allow me to login

I using SSL with My ISA Server

Can any one tell whats wrong we are doing here?

The problem is associated with the persistent cookie setting using
client integration with FBA. We have encountered the same experience
and have managed to fix it. Also, you will encounter the same
experience using explorer view with client integration and FBA. Also,
when using the Edit In Microsoft Excel or Word feature in your document
libraries, you will have the form for logging in display as opposed to
the Word or Excel document.

If you haven't managed to fix this please let me know and we can pursue
the appropriate configuration.
