can we some how integrate the RSS feeds into the SPS
2003's news area, i tried the XML file viewer but that
didnt worked upto what i wanted

Also you should look into the DataView web part (using Frontpage 2003). You
can use it to build a UI for an xml data set (among others). Point the data
view to the RSS feed and format it the way you want. Works really well.
