RSS Feed from WSS3 Site

My company would like to use the RSS feeds that can be generated for
lists and libraries in WSS3, but for whatever reason we can't seem to
get them working properly. When I click on the RSS link in a list, it
takes me to the feed page. On that page there is a "click here to
subscribe" link, but when I click on that link I get "Page Cannot be
displayed error" (Invalid Syntax). I am using IE6 and another user
tried this with IE7 and was able to subscribe to the posting with
IE7's built-in RSS reader. Do you need IE7 to use this functionality
(seems like you shouldn't)?

You need an RSS viewer of some sort. IE7 is an RSS viewer, IE6 is not. There
are hundreds of RSS viewers besides IE7 that you could use. SharePoint works
with them all.

You need an rss  reader to subscribe  - ie7  has one built in as does
outlook 2007.

Per Microsoft MCS:
From technet2.microsoft.com/.../e8493b73-
ad1a-4642-8141-05405f0026781033.mspx?mfr=true:

By default, the RSS Web Part can access only anonymous feeds. To
allow authenticated feeds  (such as feeds to authenticated SharePoint
site content), you must grant the Web server computers access to the
appropriate server computers by using constrained delegation in the
Active Directory directory service.

I found these links and the MCS is currently reviewing:
Please review the following and see if this resolves our RSS issue;
