How to Revemove Top Navigation Bar from web part Page

I How to Customize the WSS Web part Page .
when we create the web part page abc.aspx by default top navigation bar
appear on that page
but when i remove this top navigation bar using front page available on that
page ,it will affect entire WSS site .

How to Solve this Problem?

my Requirement is top navigation bar of view Page should not appear there.

If you are using WSS 3.0 or MOSS 2007 this is fairly easy.
1. Add a Content Editor web  Part to your page.
2. Edit the content of the web part, specifically the source
editor.
3. Add the java script below:
<style>
.ms-nav
{
display: none;
}
</style>
4 hide web part

5.Hide everything
<style>
.ms-nav, .ms-globalTitleArea, .ms-bannerframe, .ms-globalbreadcrumb
{
display: none;
}
</style>

The only that I think you'll want to override is .ms-bannerframe but
I included other useful ones in case you want to experiment. The
final thing you'll want to do it set the web part  to hidden.

But i Want this for WSS 2.0 is it works?
Is there is any alternative for this.
